Things to Do

The outdoors calls, with a wide number of activities. Swimming at the Newcomb Town Beach, canoeing or kayaking on any one of the many local lakes, hiking on hundreds of miles of trails, attending an arts performance or concert.

Here is just a small sample of activities in the region:

+Climb Goodnow Mountain, a challenge that even young children can accomplish

+Play a round of golf at Newcomb's beautiful 9 hole course.

+Visit the Santanoni Great Camp. You can hike in or schedule a horse-drawn wagon to take you.

+Go to the Adirondack Museum or the Wild Center, two world class facilities.

+Attend a lecture at the Adirondack Interpretive Center.

+Fish the local streams and rivers.

+Canoe or kayak down the Hudson from your own front yard.

There are literally hundreds of things to do, some challenging, some very easy and comfortable. Come and find out for yourself.
